In this post we will discuss about some shortcut tricks for windows 7 PC and laptop which you may not know or use earlier.These some shortcut keys contains cool features in windows 7 using the windows logo key.In addition in this article i also describe some other shortcut keys which uses basic keyboard keys like "Windows Logo Key + E (Open Computer), Windows Key + R (Open Run), and there are some other shortcuts which looks very good and pretty which are not known by the regular users.
1.) Keyboard Shortcut To Open A New Instance Of Application In Windows 7
This a time saving shortcut key for the users of windows 7 and for those who are very busy in their application and don't have enough time to go on their desktop and then click for opening anything which is previously opened.
Shortcut Key: Windows Key + Shift + 2 (Number Key)
This shortcut key will open a new instance of application that you select.This shortcut is run on number based system, for example in the above image, pressing the Windows Key + Shift + 2 will open a new chrome window tab.The existing window tab will have a new like flash and the window will open adjacent to the older one.The image above i mentioned is captured on the same instance.
2.) Keyboard Shortcut Keys For 3D Navigation
This is the another time saving and yet cool feature of Windows 7, if you have opened lots of applications already in your task bar and you want to jump on to other application, then this shortcut will help you a lot with cool 3D effect.
This shortcut will show you all your previously opened applications in 3D mode, and you will able to see any application by leaving the keys.If you Press Windows Key + Tab key it will show you your all previously opened applications in 3D mode, see in the image above, the app which you want to see bring that in front and leave the keys, all other apps goes minimize and that app will open on your window.
3.) Browse Between Windows In Start Menu
This is actually a time saving shortcut in windows 7, especially when you have a pile of applications opened.
When you press Windows Key along with any number in the keyboard, the respective application in that start menu will be opened.For example in the above image, clicking on Windows Key + 2 will open Google Chrome.The reason is item 1 and 2 are windows explorer (same application) and hence they are grouped together.The number you specify is the order of the application present in the start menu (grouped windows are considered as one application).When you will click Windows Key +1 it will give you the option to choose between 2 items one for downloads and other for movies.
4.) Keyboard Shortcut To Get Right Click Options In Start Menu
This is also a good shortcut trick for windows, but the right click in start menu is not so much popular, but still few applications will provide lots of options which is useful for the users.
For Example Clicking right Click on The Internet Explorer will display a set of actions, where in you an able to see lots of options like Frequent and Tasks.In Task you will able to open a new tab in Internet Explorer, or start private browsing, now you can do that by using a keyboard shortcut key.
